Red Roof Diner in Peosta

Very unpleasant breakfast time, the waitress was unable to understand English, they give us a different waitress and she messed up with my coffee, the salt shaker has to be clean and the sugar container, wonder what the manager is doing. they refund us only part of the food we don't eat vs don't pay at all,for their issues....

A good hometown restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. I thought the gyro salad, with warm meat was good. The only issue our group (9) had was a chicken sandwich that was slightly under done. They were more than willing to fix it and not charge us for it.

A nice quaint little restaurant. Lots of patrons around the lunch time. Poor staff seemed to be working their tails off. Glad to see small diners doing well. My husband did not like his burger (bacon was not thoroughly cooked and patty seemed to have filler. However my daughter's veggie omelet was amazing and FULL of vegies.

Fast friendly service but the worst breakfast I have ever had. For two guys that were starving... We left half the food on the plate.

Their chicken fettuccini alfredo was alfredo soup with noodles boiled three times longer than necessary (so soft they were falling apart).

the Only 2 complaints I have is that the service could improve. And their booths are not PLUS SIZE friendly. Otherwise, the place is great! EXCELLENT food and you won't go hungry, the portions are LOADED. Fast service. Clean, fair priced, cozy.

The service was fine. I ordered the tenderloin with waffle fries. It was pretty good. It came with either soup, or I could pay $.80 more for a salad . Uh, it was lettuce and carrot slivers.....that's it....wife also got salad. Ranch came really thick, couldn't pour it. So...

The waitress was awesome. Breakfast all day? My kind of place! The hash browns rocked. Everything was delicious. This place was very nice.

The Mexican Skillet was delicious. It was a busy Sunday morning, but we didn't wait long and the service was good.

Excellent service and great food. Would be nice if the age limit on kids menu was a little higher than 8 though. My 10 yr. old only wanted chicken strips and fries, the adult meal was to much food for him to eat. With soup being part of the meal I would also suggest offering maybe 2 different soups to choose from.

Very good food. They do need more staff to turn over table faster. Iced tea was terrible but the coffee was great. We will eat here again.

The food and service were terrible!

During quarantine I am a bit cautious about takeout food from a normal sit-down restaurant. Red Roof Diner proved my caution was not needed. Despite the 10 minute drive, when I got home the food was hot, tasty, and very filling. The drive-up window was super convenient, and allowed for proper distance.

The Red Roof Diner is a very friendly place to grab some lunch at. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is delicious.

Friendly staff. Fast service. Very filling food and very decent prices for the food. Very good cheesecake. Family/cozy type environment. Will go back in the future.
